A New Story

It all began with a move from LA to Austin. Bobby and Gail went from the fast-paced high traffic, “cement” jungle life to a calming, serene, and nature-filled life. They had the extraordinary opportunity to buy 178 acres of raw land. Paired with a dream to create a wonderful place that provides a unique opportunity to nurture in nature, they began to build what you see today. They had the idea that more folks like them wanted to "nurture in nature", to recharge their physical and emotional batteries in a relaxed, beautiful, and caring environment. The Dubois are passionate about the land and the animals, being active, preparing and enjoying good food, and deeply wish to share that experience with others.

The Experience

Imagine yourself waking up in an upscale ranch surrounded by a stunning view of hills that meet the water. Have coffee overlooking the stream and prepare for your upcoming day. You can take a stroll on the hiking trails, have a picnic in a nestled grove of trees or bird watch anywhere, smile along with an alpaca, and take a plunge into the stream of natural pools. Enjoy a home-cooked meal overlooking the sun setting in the distance and slowly admire the shining stars that come out of hiding. Relax in the sauna or recharge by the fireplace. This is Madrone Springs Ranch.

Mind/Body Rejuvenation

Stay active and sweat it out in our private healing spa wing with a fitness center and yoga studio. Take a dip in the spa/hot tub overlooking the creek, relax in the sauna, take a cold plunge (if you are adventurous), and find peace through meditation.

The Accommodations

The Ranch House - Perched on the edge of the canyon overlooking Flat Creek, this upscale 2,200 sq. ft modern rustic lodge includes 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths with enough space to comfortably sleep 8-10 people (3 kings, 3 twin XLs). You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen, 2 wood-burning fireplaces, outdoor gas & wood grills, a full deck with a fire pit, and outdoor shower. With easy access to the creek and hiking trails, you can choose to enjoy reading a book on the porch listening to the soothing water of the creek or surround yourself with groves of trees.

Hideaway House - Located at the other end of the property about a mile from the Ranch House, this newly completed beautiful, modern 1,500 sq. ft house has stunning views of the valley and Flat Creek canyon. It includes 2 bedrooms with king beds and 2 en suite bathrooms with enough space to comfortably sleep 4 people. You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, outdoor shower, private spa/hot tub, and easy access to the hiking trails.

The Mini Cabin - Located a short walk from the Ranch House, the Mini-Cabin is a quaint and charming 360 sq. ft micro-home that includes 2 full-sized beds in the loft, a convertible sofa that sleeps two downstairs, and a full bathroom. You’ll have access to a studio kitchen. This space is the perfect solution for teenagers, a nanny, or other guests who want their own private space away from the Ranch House, but still be nearby.
